Alpine Enters the EV Game – See the Brand-New 3-Motor Crossover!
Alpine is preparing to introduce its very first crossover, and the excitement is building quickly. The official premiere is set for May 27 at Alpine’s historic factory in Dieppe, France, where it will also mark the seventieth anniversary of the brand. Ahead of the big reveal, new teaser images and leaked prototype photos are giving us a clearer picture of what to expect.
This new model is heavily inspired by the A3 90 B concept that was showcased last fall. At the time, Alpine said the concept was around 85 percent true to the final production version. Now that more visuals are available, we can see there are some notable changes. The rear roofline will be a bit more upright, improving headroom. The wheel arches are smaller and the body stands a bit taller overall. The sleek two-tier LED headlights remain up front, stretching across the width of the vehicle, though their detailing has been refined. Retractable handles for the front doors and hidden ones in the rear door frame add to the modern design.
Around the back, a full-width LED light bar remains, now updated with additional strokes for a more dynamic look. The triangle accents seen in the original concept have been removed to give the rear a cleaner style.
Underpinning the crossover is the Amp R Medium modular platform, which it shares with models like the Renault Scenic and Nissan Ariya. It will be powered by three electric motors—one in the front and two at the rear—providing strong all-wheel-drive performance with a sporty coupe-like feel.
This marks a new chapter for Alpine, blending their racing spirit with electric innovation.
