600HP Mercedes AMG C63 S by Brabus

600HP Mercedes AMG C63 S by Brabus

Brabus has revealed full details and a photo gallery of their latest creation, a 600 horsepower monster based on the Mercedes-AMG C63 S Sedan.

Those who are unable to wait for a hard-core Black Series version of the Mercedes C63 should give Brabus a call as they have upgraded the Mercedes C63 S all the way up to 600 horsepower (441 kW) at 5,800 rpm and 800 Nm (591 lb-ft) at 1,750 – 4,500 rpm which represents a healthy power boost of 90 horsepower (66 kW) and 100 Nm (74 lb-ft) of torque.

It shouldn’t come as a surprise the popular 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint time has improved by 0.2s to just 3.8 seconds while top speed has jumped to a super illegal 186 mph (300 km/h) if you are not on the autobahn or a race track, up from the electronically-restricted 155 mph (250 km/h) of the standard model.

This power improvement is also available for the wagon but due to its slightly heavier weight it needs an extra 0.1s for the sprint.

Aside from adding more power, Brabus has also installed their stainless steel performance exhaust system with controlled butterfly valve to enable sound management via a switch mounted inside the cabin. The almost not noticeable body kit has been aerodynamically optimized in the wind tunnel and is made from clear-coated carbon with either a matte or a glossy finish.

The high-performance German compact sedan from Mercedes-AMG has been treated to the tuner’s 20-inch Monoblock T wheels wrapped in 255/30 ZR20 front and 275/35 ZR20 rear tires available from your choice of Continental, Pirelli and Yokohama.

Brabus also made some modifications inside the cabin where they installed aluminum paddle shifters, stainless steel scuff plates (with backlit logo), revised speedometer going all the way up to 340 km/h (211 mph) and black leather upholstery with mandarin seams.

The tuner  Mercedes-AMG C63 S by Brabus will be exhibited later this month at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
