2027 Rolls-Royce Spectre Series II Gets 670 Horsepower

2027 Rolls-Royce Spectre Series II Gets 670 Horsepower

Rolls-Royce is giving its all-electric luxury coupe a significant update with the arrival of the 2027 Spectre Series II. While the original Spectre quickly became one of the brand’s most admired modern vehicles, the latest version focuses on improving the ownership experience through greater range, faster charging, stronger performance, and even more opportunities for personalization.

From the outside, the Spectre Series II remains instantly recognizable. Rolls-Royce chose not to dramatically alter the elegant fastback shape that has earned praise from customers and automotive experts around the world. Instead, designers concentrated on refining details and introducing fresh customization options. One of the most notable additions is a new exterior color called Ethereal Blue, developed specifically to highlight the coupe’s sculpted surfaces and flowing lines.

Performance has also received meaningful attention. Engineers have recalibrated the electric drivetrain to deliver stronger acceleration and improved responsiveness. Standard output now reaches 442 kilowatts, while torque climbs to 1,015 Newton meters. Drivers who select the Black Badge version gain access to Infinity Mode, which unlocks 500 kilowatts, equivalent to approximately 670 horsepower. Spirited Mode boosts torque even further to 1,100 Newton meters, or about 811 pound feet of torque, making it the most powerful Rolls-Royce ever produced.

The improvements are not limited to performance. Thanks to advancements in battery technology, the Spectre Series II can travel up to 390 miles on a full charge under the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure standard. Charging times have also been reduced by up to 14 percent, making long-distance travel even more convenient for owners.

Inside, Rolls-Royce continues to push craftsmanship and creativity to new levels. The company says Spectre customers are among the most enthusiastic participants in its Bespoke program, often requesting highly personalized features that transform each vehicle into a unique creation.

One of the most interesting additions is Duality Twill, a new textile inspired by bamboo groves near Sir Henry Royce’s former winter residence on the French Riviera. The material can require up to 25 hours of work and incorporates as many as 2.6 million stitches and 10 miles of thread. Customers can choose from numerous thread colors to create a cabin tailored specifically to their tastes.

Another innovation is the new Placed Perforation leather treatment. Tiny precision-cut perforations form artistic patterns inspired by clouds moving across moonlit skies. The design creates a subtle visual effect that becomes even more dramatic when paired with the vehicle’s illuminated interior features.

Rolls-Royce has also introduced a new Brindled Walnut veneer. Crafted using walnut from non-fruiting trees and eucalyptus fibers, the material creates a distinctive layered appearance. Glass flakes suspended beneath the lacquer add depth and shimmer, producing an effect that changes depending on lighting conditions.

Technology inside the cabin has been enhanced as well. A new illuminated fascia stretches across the dashboard and contains 8,108 individual light elements arranged in a flowing pattern. The design was inspired by the mist-covered woodlands surrounding the Rolls-Royce headquarters in Goodwood, England. A redesigned clock and a stainless steel Spirit of Ecstasy display further reinforce the vehicle’s modern luxury atmosphere.

For customers seeking a more dramatic appearance, the Black Badge Spectre Series II introduces new styling features. The available Iced Black package applies a sophisticated matte finish to many exterior elements, including the grille surround, door handles, trim pieces, and even the Spirit of Ecstasy mascot. New wheel designs further emphasize the coupe’s commanding stance and performance-focused personality.

The success of Spectre has exceeded many expectations within the company. It remained the second best-selling Rolls-Royce globally during 2025, and owners are using their vehicles more frequently than many anticipated. Some customers have accumulated tens of thousands of miles, proving that the electric luxury coupe is more than a showcase vehicle. It has become a genuine daily driver for many owners.

The 2027 Rolls-Royce Spectre Series II demonstrates that luxury electric vehicles can continue evolving without abandoning the qualities that made them successful in the first place. With more range, more power, faster charging, and virtually limitless customization possibilities, Spectre Series II strengthens its position as one of the most desirable electric grand touring cars in the world.
