2027 Ram Rumble Bee Sells Out in Just 24 Hours

2027 Ram Rumble Bee Sells Out in Just 24 Hours

Ram has discovered that there is still plenty of demand for an old-school V8 muscle truck. The new Ram 1500 Rumble Bee has made an impressive entrance, with the base 5.7-liter Hemi V8 version selling through its available allocation through March 2027 in only 24 hours.

Demand was even stronger when ordering first opened. Ram says its entire 2026 calendar-year allocation was spoken for in just 90 minutes, showing how quickly buyers responded to the return of the Rumble Bee name.

Starting at $62,790 including destination, the entry-level Rumble Bee uses the 5.7-liter Hemi V8 producing 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. Ram says it can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 6.1 seconds and complete the quarter mile in 14.6 seconds at 93 miles per hour.

One of the truck’s more entertaining features is its ability to switch from full-time active 4-wheel drive to rear-wheel drive. A button near the console shifter disconnects the front axle, giving drivers a more traditional muscle-truck experience.

Ram also leaves out the eTorque mild-hybrid system and automatic stop-start technology in this configuration. Power is handled by an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The Rumble Bee combines the smaller Quad Cab with a short bed, giving it proportions designed to look more aggressive and performance focused. At 219.5 inches long, however, it is still unmistakably a full-size American pickup.

With buyers claiming the available trucks so quickly, the message is clear: the Hemi V8 still has a very enthusiastic audience.
