2027 Nissan Z Pricing Starts at $44,480

The 2027 Nissan Z is arriving with a fresh round of updates that should make enthusiasts pay attention, especially those who have been asking for a more engaging driving experience. While the iconic sports car keeps its familiar styling and twin turbocharged performance, Nissan has focused on refining the formula with meaningful improvements rather than reinventing it.

The biggest headline is the arrival of a 6 speed manual transmission for the Z NISMO. Until now, buyers who wanted the highest performance version had to choose the automatic gearbox. For 2027, Nissan is finally giving driving enthusiasts the option they have been requesting. The manual model also receives a short shifter and an upgraded clutch that promise a more connected and rewarding feel behind the wheel.

Performance improvements do not stop there. Every Z NISMO now comes equipped with new 2 piece brake rotors inspired by the legendary Nissan GT R. These lighter rotors reduce unsprung weight by 19 pounds while also increasing heat resistance during spirited driving or track sessions. Nissan has also improved cooling channels to help the braking system perform more consistently under demanding conditions.

The rest of the lineup also receives several noticeable updates. The Z Sport and Z Performance models adopt a refreshed front design with a body colored grille bar that pays tribute to classic generations of the Z. Every model now features a distinctive Z emblem on the nose, replacing the traditional Nissan badge. Buyers of the Performance model will also find new forged 19 inch wheels with black spokes and a machined finish.

A new Shinkai Green Pearl Metallic exterior joins the color palette, inspired by the original S30 generation Z, while the Performance grade now offers a tan interior that creates a classic green and tan combination. Engineers have also fitted larger shock absorbers to the Performance model for improved ride quality and handling, along with a redesigned fuel tank that helps maintain fuel delivery during aggressive cornering.

Pricing starts at $44,480 for the Z Sport and climbs to $67,260 for the Z NISMO, with both manual and automatic transmissions carrying identical prices. The updates make it clear that Nissan is committed to keeping the Z one of the most engaging and accessible sports cars on the market.
