2027 Lincoln Corsair Is Now Built in China

The Lincoln Corsair is staying alive for 2027, but it is returning with a major change. Lincoln’s compact luxury crossover will now be imported from China and will come standard with a new hybrid powertrain, giving the Corsair a very different position in the brand’s lineup.

For 2027, every Corsair gets a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder hybrid powertrain producing 305 horsepower. All-wheel drive is also standard, and Lincoln is no longer offering buyers a choice of engines. The previous Grand Touring plug-in hybrid has been discontinued, leaving the new conventional hybrid as the only powertrain.

Lincoln has also freshened the exterior. Up front, the Corsair receives a more sculpted hood, redesigned grille, updated headlights, and a revised front fascia. Changes continue at the rear with an updated fascia and revised taillights that incorporate the Lincoln lettering for a cleaner appearance.

Inside, the overall cabin design remains familiar. A new Stellar Sun interior color theme joins the lineup, while a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and 13.2-inch infotainment display continue to handle most of the driver information and technology. BlueCruise 1.5 hands-free driver assistance comes standard.

Lincoln will offer the 2027 Corsair in Premiere and Reserve trims. The Reserve can be equipped with 24-way Perfect Position front seats featuring heating, ventilation, and massage functions. Buyers can also choose 18-inch, 19-inch, or 20-inch wheels along with several new exterior colors.

Pricing is where the changes become especially noticeable. The 2027 Corsair Premiere Hybrid starts at $49,740 including the $2,295 destination charge. That is $7,310 more than the non-hybrid 2026 Premiere. The Reserve starts at $55,790.

For Reserve buyers wanting a darker appearance, the $2,500 Jet Appearance Package adds black exterior details and 20-inch black painted aluminum wheels.

The 2027 Lincoln Corsair is expected to reach customers early next year. Orders are already being accepted, giving Lincoln buyers a new China-built hybrid option with more standard power, all-wheel drive, and a noticeably higher starting price.
