2027 Lexus NX 350h AWD – Sonic Tellus With Clay Red Interior

2027 Lexus NX 350h AWD – Sonic Tellus With Clay Red Interior

The 2027 Lexus NX 350h AWD brings a fresh look and a more refined driving experience to Lexus’ popular luxury crossover, and this particular configuration makes an especially strong first impression. Finished in Sonic Tellus exterior paint and paired with a Leather Clay Red interior, the NX 350h combines an understated exterior with a cabin that adds a much bolder personality.

For 2027, Lexus has made electrification the focus of the NX lineup in the United States. The NX 350h uses a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder gasoline engine working together with an updated hybrid system. Rather than chasing extreme performance, the system is designed around smooth power delivery, efficiency, and the quiet character expected from a Lexus. The hybrid hardware has also been made more compact, including an updated e-Axle assembly that integrates important electrical and drivetrain components.

All-wheel drive gives the NX 350h additional confidence in changing conditions. Lexus has revised the E-Four electronic all-wheel-drive system so the rear electric motor can contribute during normal straight-line driving as well as during acceleration, cornering, and low-traction situations. The goal is to make the NX feel more stable and predictable without sacrificing the efficiency that makes the hybrid attractive in the first place.

Lexus also spent considerable time improving how the new NX feels from behind the wheel. Structural reinforcement was added in several areas of the body, while the suspension, steering, braking, and accelerator response were retuned. Development even included testing at the Nürburgring in Germany and Toyota Technical Center Shimoyama in Japan. A smaller 14.2-inch steering wheel and Variable Rack Gear steering system are designed to make the NX feel more responsive and natural.

The exterior changes are noticeable without completely changing the identity of the NX. The front has a cleaner appearance, with redesigned lighting and a more integrated grille treatment. At the rear, Lexus introduces its Double L Signature lighting and an illuminated Lexus emblem. The Sonic Tellus finish works particularly well with the updated body because its subtle tone allows the sharper details and dark exterior accents to stand out.

Inside, the Leather Clay Red upholstery completely changes the mood. It adds a sporty, upscale character while contrasting nicely against the restrained exterior color. The dashboard has also been redesigned around a standard 14-inch Lexus Interface touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument display. Expanded ambient lighting and new controls give the cabin a cleaner, more modern appearance.

Luxury versions can take the experience even further with Lexus’ Sensory Concierge system, which coordinates lighting, climate settings, seat temperature, music, and available fragrances to create different cabin environments.

The 2027 Lexus NX 350h AWD is not trying to reinvent what made the NX successful. Instead, Lexus has focused on improving the details that owners experience every day. With its updated hybrid technology, revised chassis, more advanced interior, and striking Sonic Tellus and Clay Red combination, this NX feels like a thoughtful evolution of Lexus’ compact luxury crossover.
