2027 Kia EV3 Pricing Revealed – Starts Under $30,000

Kia is making its smallest electric sport utility vehicle a lot more interesting for American buyers. The all-new 2027 Kia EV3 will start at $29,890 before the $1,495 destination charge, making it the most affordable electric vehicle in Kia’s United States lineup.

The EV3 takes several design cues from the larger Kia EV9 but packages them into a smaller and more affordable sport utility vehicle. The biggest surprise may be how much range Kia has managed to offer at this price point. Wind front-wheel drive and Land front-wheel drive models can travel up to 321 miles on a full charge, giving the EV3 enough range to work as more than just a city vehicle.

Charging should also be relatively straightforward. Kia equips the EV3 with a built-in North American Charging Standard port, eliminating the need for an adapter at compatible chargers. When connected to a 350 kilowatt direct current fast charger, the battery can recharge from 10% to 80% in approximately 31 minutes.

Buyers will have plenty of choices. The EV3 Light front-wheel drive starts at $29,890, followed by the Wind front-wheel drive at $34,990 and Wind all-wheel drive at $38,690. The Land front-wheel drive costs $38,490, while Land all-wheel drive starts at $41,690. Moving higher in the range, the GT-Line all-wheel drive costs $43,490.

At the top sits the EV3 GT all-wheel drive at $45,890. This version produces 288 horsepower and gives buyers a more performance-focused alternative without moving to a larger electric sport utility vehicle.

Kia is also offering a Nightfall Package with black exterior details, unique 19-inch black wheels, bridge-style roof rails, and a dark gray interior. Available technology includes a 360-degree Surround View system, Blind-Spot View Monitor, and nearly 30 inches of combined digital displays.

Cold-weather equipment has not been overlooked either. A battery heater comes standard, while all-wheel drive versions can be equipped with a heat pump. Heated front seats and a heated steering wheel are also available.

With a starting price below $30,000, up to 321 miles of range, fast charging, and available all-wheel drive, the 2027 Kia EV3 enters the market with a strong combination of affordability and everyday usability. For buyers who have been waiting for a smaller electric sport utility vehicle without a premium price tag, the EV3 could be one of Kia’s most important electric vehicles yet.
