2027 Hyundai Tucson XRT

2027 Hyundai Tucson XRT

The all-new Hyundai Tucson XRT takes the redesigned Tucson in a more rugged direction, giving buyers an SUV that looks ready for adventure without going all the way to the more extreme XRT PRO. With the latest generation growing in size and adopting Hyundai’s new Art of Steel design language, the XRT builds on that foundation with tougher exterior details and a stronger outdoor personality.

One of the biggest visual changes is the wide front cladding that stretches across the fascia. Hyundai combines this with extended black wheel-arch cladding that wraps around the lower body, helping the XRT look wider and more substantial. A forged-carbon-inspired pattern is also used around the wheel arches and lower exterior sections, adding another layer of detail without making the design feel overly complicated.

The bumpers and skid-plate-inspired elements have also been shaped to give the Tucson XRT a more protective appearance. These additions work especially well with the Tucson’s muscular fenders and sharper body lines, creating an SUV that looks noticeably more adventurous than the standard model.

Inside, Hyundai continues the XRT theme with a black monotone cabin, dark metal accents, XRT-specific seat patterns, and unique logos. The cabin still benefits from the redesigned Tucson’s more spacious layout and its combination of digital technology and physical controls. Frequently used climate and audio functions retain tactile buttons, making them easier to operate while driving.

Technology is another major part of the new Tucson experience. Hyundai’s Pleos Connect infotainment system offers a modern digital interface, while available features provide greater comfort and convenience during everyday driving.

The Tucson XRT is ultimately aimed at drivers who want the visual character of an outdoor-focused SUV while maintaining the comfort and practicality expected from a Tucson. It brings a tougher personality to Hyundai’s popular SUV without losing the everyday usability that has helped make the Tucson a global success.
