2027 Honda Ridgeline Rendering Shows Major Redesign

Honda appears to be getting ready to introduce an all new Ridgeline, and the first teaser has already given fans plenty to talk about. While the company has only revealed the truck’s silhouette, it provides enough clues to imagine where the design is heading. Early renderings suggest the next generation pickup will borrow heavily from the latest Honda Passport, giving the truck a tougher and more modern appearance.

The front of the new Ridgeline is expected to feature a more upright grille, slimmer lighting, and a stronger overall stance. The doors and front bodywork also appear closely related to the newest Passport, continuing Honda’s tradition of sharing major design elements between the two models. At the rear, however, the pickup should receive its own identity with unique vertical taillights and a redesigned cargo bed.

Underneath the updated body, Honda is expected to continue using a unibody platform shared with the Pilot sport utility vehicle. That should help preserve the Ridgeline’s comfortable ride while improving refinement and everyday usability. A hybrid powertrain is also rumored, potentially pairing a newly developed V6 engine with electrification to deliver better efficiency without sacrificing capability.

The current Ridgeline produces 280 horsepower from its 3.5 liter V6 engine, but the next generation model could offer more advanced technology, improved fuel economy, and updated driver assistance systems. If the reports prove accurate, Honda could unveil the new 2027 Ridgeline sometime next year, giving buyers a fresh alternative in the midsize pickup segment.
