2027 Genesis GV90 Neolun Has Incredible Coach Doors

The 2027 Genesis GV90 Neolun takes the idea of a flagship luxury SUV in a very different direction. Instead of simply adding more leather, larger screens and extra power, Genesis has focused on making the Neolun feel more like a private luxury lounge on wheels.

One of its most impressive features is the Neolun Arch Gate. The rear doors are hinged at the back, creating dramatic coach-style access to the cabin. Genesis has also eliminated the traditional fixed B-pillar, producing a huge opening when both doors are open. The system allows the front and rear doors to operate independently.

Inside, the Neolun can be configured as an ultra-luxurious 4-seat Executive Suite. When the vehicle is parked, the front seats can rotate 180 degrees so passengers can face one another. Genesis even uses real wood flooring with radiant heating inspired by traditional Korean ondol heating.

Technology plays an equally important role. A 23.6-inch OLED display can rise while the GV90 is parked and expand into a 24.6-inch cinematic screen. A massive 25-inch head-up display and a 25-speaker Bang & Olufsen Premier 3D audio system further separate the Neolun from a conventional luxury SUV.

Power comes from a dual-motor electric all-wheel-drive system producing a combined 657 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. A large 123.5-kilowatt-hour battery supplies the energy, while 350-kilowatt DC fast charging can take the battery from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 22 minutes.

The Neolun also receives 24-inch forged wheels, rear-wheel steering, multi-chamber air suspension and dual electronic limited-slip differentials.

Genesis is clearly aiming beyond the traditional definition of a premium electric SUV. With its coach doors, pillarless entrance, rotating seats and unusual luxury features, the 2027 GV90 Neolun could become one of the most distinctive flagship electric vehicles on the road.
