2027 Dodge Charger Scat Pack 4 Door SIXPACK Has 550 Horsepower!
The return of the gasoline-powered Dodge Charger continues to gain attention, and the upcoming 2027 Charger Scat Pack is shaping up to be one of the most exciting modern muscle cars on the market. While many enthusiasts expected electric power to dominate the lineup, Dodge has doubled down by offering the new SIXPACK model with a powerful twin-turbocharged engine and a practical four-door body style.
Instead of using a traditional V8, the new Charger Scat Pack is powered by the High Output 3.0-liter Hurricane inline 6 engine. It produces an impressive 550 horsepower and 531 pound-feet of torque, making it one of the strongest 6-cylinder engines Dodge has ever offered. Power is delivered through an 8-speed automatic transmission, while standard all-wheel drive helps put every bit of performance to the pavement.
Performance remains a major highlight. Dodge estimates the Charger Scat Pack can sprint from 0 to 60 miles per hour in about 3.9 seconds before reaching a top speed of 177 miles per hour. Drivers can also take advantage of features like Launch Control, Line Lock, Drift Mode, Donut Mode, and Performance Pages, giving the car serious capability both on the street and at the track.
The four-door design adds everyday usability without sacrificing the aggressive appearance buyers expect. The liftback configuration provides easier access to the cargo area, while passengers benefit from improved rear seat access. Wide fenders, a functional performance hood, large wheels, Brembo brakes, and dual exhaust outlets help the Charger maintain its unmistakable muscle car identity.
Inside, the Charger combines modern technology with performance-focused features. A large digital instrument cluster sits behind the steering wheel, while a 16-inch touchscreen serves as the centerpiece of the dashboard. Wireless Apple CarPlay, Wireless Android Auto, available premium audio, heated and ventilated seats, and a panoramic glass roof help create a cabin that feels just as advanced as it is fast.
Although Dodge has not officially detailed every update planned for the 2027 model year, expectations point toward new color options, additional appearance packages, and continued refinement of the already impressive platform. If the current specifications carry over, the 2027 Charger Scat Pack could become one of the most desirable performance sedans for drivers who still want gasoline power, everyday practicality, and serious horsepower in one package.
