2027 Audi Nuvolari Nürburgring Test: All That We Know

Audi is giving enthusiasts another reason to watch the Nürburgring closely. A heavily camouflaged prototype believed to be the upcoming 2027 Audi Nuvolari has been spotted pushing hard around the famous German circuit, offering the clearest sign yet that the company’s next flagship performance car is entering the final stages of development.

Although much of the body remains hidden beneath camouflage, several important details are easy to spot. The prototype features a very low stance, large cooling openings, massive carbon ceramic brakes, a wide rear track, and an active rear wing designed to improve stability at high speeds. The aggressive proportions also hint that this model is intended to become Audi’s most capable road car to date.

Power is expected to come from a high performance hybrid system built around a 4.0 liter twin turbocharged 8 cylinder engine working together with 3 electric motors. Combined output is expected to reach 1,001 metric horsepower, while all wheel drive and an 8 speed dual clutch transmission should deliver breathtaking acceleration and impressive cornering performance. Audi is also expected to use advanced torque vectoring, active aerodynamics, and technology influenced by its Formula One program.

Reports suggest production will be limited to just 499 examples worldwide, making the Nuvolari one of the rarest modern Audi models ever created. Pricing is expected to place it firmly in the ultra luxury supercar segment.
