Though Saleen won't be officially unveiling its new
supercar, the S5S Raptor, on stage until tomorrow,
we've got pics and details for you now. Though
slated to slot below the hardcore S7 in Saleen's
lineup, the S5S Raptor looks no less the part of a
high-powered high-performance sports car. It's
powered by a supercharged 5.0L engine mounted
amidships producing around 650 horsepower and 630
lb-ft. of churn on a steady diet of E85 ethanol.

Genesis coupe |

Hyundai hopes the new Genesis coupe will provide
performance and looks to compete with the famous
pony car, and on paper it looks like a close fight.
These latest images give us details and angles not
seen before. The power source for the Tiburon
replacement is still up in the air, but speculation
runs from a 2.0L turbocharged mill for the base
model - to start under $20,000 - to a 300hp 3.8L V6
mid-range variant to a range-topping ‘Tau’ V8
producing as much as 380hp. Optional accoutrement
are rumored to include a limited slip differential
and Brembo brakes.

upgraded the car to ‘Race’ spec. Power is up by an

707hp and decimating the standard F430 which makes
do with just 490 horsepower.

Mercedes SL65 will be powered by a twin-turbo V12
generating 608hp and an amzing 738ft/lb of torque,
no different from the previous generation. The
recently leaked SL63 AMG uses the new SpeedShift MCT
transmission, but the last iteration of the Mercedes
SL65 AMG made so much torque it had to use a
different transmission from the rest of the line, so
it’s possible this generation will do the same.

Ford FPV Territory F6X car like dynamics and size

either Mercedes CLC-specific or refined from the
previous Mercedes generation. And while the new
Mercedes CLC has sheet metal in most of the right
places - it looks quite a lot like the new Mercedes

eye will see it is in fact still based on the old
Mercedes C-class Sport Coupe.

The coupe version of the Cadillac CTS, shown as a
concept car at the recent NAIAS, has been confirmed
to start production in June 2009. At the time it
goes for sale as a 2010 model, the price tag should
be lower than the current Cadillac XLR roadster’s
price tag, making it the cheapest two-door in
Cadillac lineup. The most logical nameplate for the
car is Cadillac CTC, but anything like CTS Coupe,
Cadillac CTS-C or even the Cadillac CT name of the
concept may end up glued on the decklid.

tenths of a second off the 0-60 time to bring it
down to 4.2 seconds. Fuel consumption will be

Underneath the hood lies a new LS9 V8 engine
with a displacement of “only” 6.2L compared to
the 7L engine found in the Z06.

people at 9ff have the Bugatti Veyron clearly in
their sights with their new Porsche 9FF GT9 set
to enter the record books as the world’s fastest
production car with a claimed top speed in
excess of 250mph. As far as production cars go,
the Porsche 9FF GT9 is about as exclusive as it
gets, with only 20 examples expected to see the
light and each priced at $853,634. Although the
car is loosely based on a Porsche 911, its
mechanical package has been totally revised.

which owners can build with the powerplant of
their choice ranging from 350hp to 515hp which
inclutes the Corvette Z06 engine. The Factory
Five Racing GTM supercar is a ready-to-drive V8
powered, mid-engine car with a composite body
shell and an aluminum and steel tube frame
chassis. The car’s final kerb weight is
2,250lbs.
