In developing the Porsche 997 Turbo Cabriolet by TechArt, engineers first set about improving the engine by installing two new turbochargers, carbon suction pipes, and made to measure intercoolers. Then they add a stainless steel exhaust system with special manifolds and high performance catalytic converters as well as a high-flow sports air filter. The power transmission to all four wheels takes place via a modified six gear manual transmission with new oil coolers. Following the individualization, up to 630 horsepower and a maximum torque of 820Nm are available. The 0–100km/h sprint takes less than 3.5 seconds and top speed is rated at 345km/h. To ensure stability at high speeds, engineers developed a brand new aerokit for the Porsche 997 Turbo Cabriolet by TechArt with unique bumpers and an integrated diffuser at the rear as well as an extendable rear spoiler..
