Great competition for the Caparo for the title of most extreme-looking road car, the carbonfibre-bodied Hulme F1 supercar is due to be launched in 2008, the year that marks the 40th anniversary of Denny Hulme – the New Zealand racer who the company is named after – winning the Can-Am championship. Designed, developed and constructed in New Zealand, the 1175kg Hulme F1 uses a mid-mounted 550bhp 5-litre BMW V8.
