Stage I
Sport exhaust system which includes metal catalytic converters,
free flowing air filters & newly programmed software, which
boosts power, but retains stock-like reliability & drivability.
Of course, the biggest news is the assertive & authoritative
retort that replaces the muted whimper of the newly enhanced
turbo flat six. Of course the 9ff VariotuneTM with selectable
sound control system propagates in the DNA. This first stage of
enhancement liberates 535HP from the standard VTG turbos.
Acceleration remains at a blistering 3.7sec 0-60, but the stage
I 9ff enhancement boosts top speed up to a cool 202mph & shaves
1.2 sec from the 0-125mph sprint!
Stage II
Performance kit no. 2 includes in addition to kit no. 1 the
highest quality stainless steel headers & custom 9ff sport
camshafts. Maximum power peaks at 560 HP, but its 550 ft-lb of
lag-free, stump pulling torque creates quit a push. The AWD
turbo performs the stoplight sprint to 60mph within 3.6 seconds
& reaches 125mph in 11.3 seconds.
Stage III
Peak HP rises to 640HP, while torque swells to nearly 600 ft-lb!
Very impressive indeed! Additional enhancements from the stage
II powerkit are two larger VTG turbo & king-size aluminum
intercoolers to eliminate heat soak & maximize VTG-assisted
boost. The path of boosted gasses is similarly enhanced – as
high boost hoses & fi ttings are specifi ed. Thus equipped, the
Stage III 9ff turbo rockets to 60mph in 3.5 seconds, 125 in 10.7
sec & continues charging on, and a top speed of 213mph. |
