| Rolls-Royce will be
doubling its production lineup with the addition of a two-door,
four-seat convertible in 2007. This vehicle, based on the 100 EX
concept which appeared at the 2004 Geneva Motor Show, will share
its aluminum chassis, as well as its engine, with the Phantom.
The company has apparently decided to share the Phatom's
6.75-liter V12 with the new convertible instead of carrying over
the 9.0-liter V16 from the 100 EX. Rolls-Royce will be
constructing this new vehicle by hand at its UK-based factory in
Goodwood. |
