Porsche Sportec SP580
Sportec has released its latest package for the Porsche 997 Turbo, which includes a range of power modifications, aerodynamic enhancements, plus chassis and suspension tuning. As if the Porsche 997 Turbo wasn’t powerful enough, the Sportec performance pack lifts output to 580 horsepower, resulting in a 0-100km/h time of just 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 210mph. The engine conversion kits come in four different flavors, offering power upgrades ranging from 530 horsepower in the ‘Stage 1’ kit to 580hp and 765Nm of torque for the ‘Stage 4’ range topper. For its most powerful upgrade, engineers reprogrammed the car’s ECU, added a pair of Sportec’s own turbochargers and high flow exhaust kit, a sports air-filter and an upgraded clutch.
