2007 Lincoln MKX

Built on a car chassis shared with the Ford Edge, the 2007 Mark X (formerly the Aviator) will be Lincoln's first crossover SUV when it goes on sale late this year. Aimed directly at luxury crossovers like the Lexus RX 330 and Cadillac SRX, the Mark X uses Ford's newest 3.5-liter V6 which produces 250 horsepower and 240 pound-feet of torque. Coupled to a six-speed automatic transmission, Lincoln expects the Mark to accelerate as fast as anything in the class. Both front- and all-wheel drive will be offered.
