Chevy Corvette Z06 427 Limited Edition |
Chevy Corvette Z06 427 Limited Edition a limited-production model that pays homage to the big-block Corvette Stingray models of the mid-1960s and comes in a unique crystal red exterior paint scheme. The ‘427’ designation refers to the cubic-inch displacement of the familiar Corvette Z06 7.0L LS7 small-block V8 but it also is a throwback to the highest-performance V8 engines offered by GM during the 1960s. In addition to the new coat of paint, the car also features graphics on the hood and fascia that resemble the original ‘stinger’ hood design from the 1967 Corvette 427 model. Each example is numbered and signed by Wil Cooksey, the Corvette assembly plant manager who is retiring after 15 years on the job, and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
