Normally driven, the Zonda remains calm, but stomp on the accelerator pedal, shows the Zondas true nature and transforms into a genuine racing car. For the strong acceleration a power is provided by a V12-engine from Mercedes-AMG, who draws from 7,3 litres motor an output of 555 HP and with enormous torque of 750 Nm, which already lines up with 4.050 U/min.

The body completely consisting of carbon the vehicle weighs only 1,280 kg. That corresponds to an impressing weight per horsepower of only 2.30 kg/cHp. Thus the Zonda needs only 3.7 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h. The maximum speed is 335 km/h. No miracle that Mercedes Benz used the Zonda as comparison with the SLR and Ferrari on its test track with the Enzo. The faster one was in both cases of the Zonda.
