Tiny BMW M3 E30 Replica
If you’re done laughing like a Japanese schoolgirl at the sight of this baby sized BMW M3 E30 replica, then perhaps we can tell you a little about this cutie.
It was built by design students from the Nihon Automobile College (NATS) and was initially on display at the 2015 Tokyo Auto Salon before making its way to this years 2015 Bangkok International Auto Show.
Named the weirdly as the MBW 550, it was built from the JDM Suzuki Mighty Boy – an odd offering in itself from the 550cc or 0.55-liter engine era (1976-1990) of Japan’s Kei class vehicles.
The students gave Suzuki’s mini “Coupe Utility” version a somewhat convincing BMW M3 E30 makeover on the front together with BMW Motorsports livery on the rest of the body, but fell short at the back where they tossed in a set of what appear to be BMW E34 5-Series taillights.
Comment if you will at your own risk.
