Spectators getting too close to jumping WRC Rally Cars – Video

Spectators getting too close to jumping WRC Rally Cars – Video

The video reminds us of Group B rally events that took place in the late 80’s. The combination of extremely fast cars, narrow dirt roads and lots of people on the side of the road cheering and making things extremely dangerous.

The only key difference between the 80’s and this video is that the scenario is full of action video cameras, mounted on trees, selfie sticks and even on the road – just a few centimeters away from where the cars take off.

You would think that would be enough to push the spectators back, but no; some of the bystanders try to film the jumping rally cars as close as they can get. Sure, get as close as possible and try to record a flying rally car with your Iphone, because there’s absolutely nothing that could go wrong.
