Porsche 991 Turbo Ultraviolet with HRE Vintage Wheels

Porsche 991 Turbo Ultraviolet with HRE Vintage Wheels

Looks like somebody was jealous of the new Porsche GT3 RS and its cool Ultraviolet paint work. The owner of this Porsche 991 Turbo S has had his car wrapped in a similar color and, as an extra twist, fitted with a set of Vintage HRE wheels. The end result is a unique hugely attractive supercar.

The Ultraviolet Porsche 991 Turbo here is sitting on a set of Vintage 501M HREs in Satin Charcoal, fitted by Wheels Boutique. The Vintage series made a lot of noise when they were first introduced, but if we’re honest we’re not so sure about them now. The design is unique, for sure, but on this car at least it looks kind of overcooked and busy. The contrast between the retro look of the wheels and the modern lines of the car is still cool though.

Porsche 991 Turbo S is a lot more powerful than the GT3 RS whose color it’s stolen with 560 horsepower. But it is also quite a bit heavier on account of it being four-wheel-drive and chockfull of all sorts of luxury and comfort amenities. It belongs to an entirely different class, the Turbo, and has different customer bases as well. The RS is bought by enthusiasts and speed freaks, while the 911 Turbo is predominantly bought by successful business people, doctors and architects who want something fast and safe.
