NEW Lynk & Co 07 GT Is the Performance Wagon Everyone Is Talking About
The Lynk & Co 07 GT is about to give performance wagon fans something new to talk about. The company has officially opened pre sales for its latest plug in hybrid wagon, combining sporty styling with long distance efficiency and everyday practicality. With deliveries expected to begin in July, the 07 GT arrives as another step in Lynk & Co’s effort to attract drivers who want more excitement without giving up modern hybrid technology.
Starting at 165,800 yuan, which is about 24,400 United States dollars, the new wagon is positioned as an affordable performance model in a segment that continues to grow in China. It blends a sleek body with advanced hybrid engineering, giving buyers an alternative to traditional sport utility vehicles while keeping plenty of cargo space and daily usability.
The 07 GT is built on the Compact Modular Architecture platform and uses the company’s EM P intelligent electric hybrid system. Its exterior carries a low and athletic stance highlighted by a distinctive front lighting signature made up of 94 light emitting diode elements. Frameless doors give the wagon a more premium appearance, while a versatile roof rack system allows owners to carry extra gear without sacrificing the clean design.
Under the hood, every version uses a 1.5 liter turbocharged gasoline engine paired with a dedicated 3 speed hybrid transmission. The entry level model combines the engine with a single electric motor to produce a total system output of 300 kilowatts. That setup allows the wagon to sprint from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 5.5 seconds, making it quick enough to satisfy drivers looking for spirited performance.
For those wanting even stronger acceleration, Lynk & Co also offers a dual motor all wheel drive version. This model raises total system output to 390 kilowatts, or about 530 horsepower, delivering even sharper performance while maintaining the benefits of a plug in hybrid powertrain.
Every version comes equipped with a 28.3 kilowatt hour lithium ion battery pack. In single motor form, the wagon can travel up to 200 kilometers using electric power alone under the China Light Duty Vehicle Test Cycle standard. Combined driving range reaches an impressive 1,422 kilometers. The more powerful all wheel drive version offers 170 kilometers of electric driving and a total range of 1,315 kilometers, balancing performance with long distance capability.
The wagon measures 4,846 millimeters long, 1,900 millimeters wide, and 1,485 millimeters tall, while riding on a 2,843 millimeter wheelbase. Models equipped with additional sport styling components stretch slightly to 4,866 millimeters in length. Cargo capacity starts at 614 liters, giving the 07 GT the practicality expected from a modern wagon.
Handling was clearly a priority during development. The front suspension uses a MacPherson strut layout, while the rear features an independent multi link design for improved stability and comfort. Even the standard model benefits from adaptive hydraulic dampers that automatically adjust to changing road conditions. Higher performance versions receive magnetic rheological dampers that react even faster, giving drivers greater confidence whether cruising on the highway or tackling winding roads.
Inside, technology plays an equally important role. The cabin is centered around a 15.4 inch infotainment display powered by the Flyme Auto 2.5 operating system. A 5 nanometer cockpit processor delivers fast response times, while a roof mounted lidar sensor supports the vehicle’s advanced driver assistance technologies.
Premium models add leather bucket seats with 12 way power adjustment along with heating and ventilation for additional comfort. Buyers looking for something more exclusive can choose the Time Limited Edition, which is restricted to just 1,007 units worldwide. Priced at 208,800 yuan, or about 30,694 United States dollars, this special version features unique matte paint, carbon fiber aerodynamic upgrades, and exclusive styling details that help separate it from the rest of the lineup.
The arrival of the 07 GT comes shortly after early previews and prototype sightings generated strong attention across social media. Although sales of the related 07 EM P sedan slowed during May, Lynk & Co appears confident that this stylish performance wagon can attract a different group of buyers. With impressive electric range, powerful hybrid performance, advanced technology, and everyday practicality wrapped into one package, the 07 GT could become one of the most interesting new performance wagons to reach the market this year.
