New Ford GT Caught In A Gas Station

New Ford GT Caught In A Gas Station

Only a few months back a prototype of the brand new and highly anticipated Ford GT was spied cruising on the open streets in Michigan. The prototype of the Ford supercar had a scary looking body and mismatched matte gray base paint.

It would now appear as if another sighting of the same exact Ford GT prototype has been made on the streets of Detroit. The insane looking supercar was spied filling up at a gas station near Ford’s headquarters with manufacturer plates on the rear of the car.

These new spy photos reveal a closer look of the vehicle at a standstill, including a nice look into the engine bay through the rain covered rearview window. The production version of this awesome American supercar is set to have a turbocharged V6 engine that produces 700 horsepower.

It is also expected to have different headlights, tail lights and exhaust outlets to the prototype car spotted in these pictures. Additionally, the 2017 Ford GT is expected to be equipped with carbon-fiber and forged aluminum wheels, highly advanced traction controls, and doors that lift with a combined gullwing and scissor style motion.

Only around 1,000 of these Ford GTs will be manufactured during the course of its production.

It will have a twin-turbo 3.5-litre V6 producing more than 600bhp.
