Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 Drifting On Sand – Video

Amusingly enough, most videos we’ve seen the Mercedes-AMG G63 6×6 in have shown it posing on tarmac or having difficulty navigating tight city streets (or on track…).

However, it is much more at home where there are no roads, like for instance a beach.

The 6×6 laughs in the face of sand which is probably why it was very popular in the Middle East. There people really like to thrash their off-roaders up and over the dunes and this looks like the perfect wheeled companion, one that could definitely handle some air time and repeated landings.

It does look a bit prone to tipping over, though…

In the video below, it’s shown in hoon mode on a stretch of beach. YouTube user Gumbal doesn’t mention where the exact location is, but it’s not really that relevant in this context.

What you undoubtedly want to see is the 6×6 sideways on sand and the video features plenty of that!
