McLaren 675LT Unleashed on track – Video

McLaren has released a fresh promo clip for the McLaren 675 Long Tail to celebrate the start of production.

Unveiled back in March 2015 at the Geneva Motor Show, the most powerful model of McLaren’s Super Series has already reached sold out status as the Woking-based manufacturer has filled out the entire rare 500-unit order book.

Nevertheless, that hasn’t stopped them from giving us a 4K video recorded at Castellolí track in Spain to show us what we are going to be missing.

Compared to the previous series-topper, the McLaren 650S Coupe, the McLaren 675LT is 100 kg (220 lbs) lighter and 25 PS & 22 Nm more powerful as McLaren’s engineers fiddled around with the V8 3.8-liter twin-turbo engined and squeezed 675 PS (496 kW) and 700 Nm (517 lb-ft).

Priced at £259,500 in UK ($349,500 in US), the long-tailed McLaren will need 2.9 seconds to complete the 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) task and will carry on until 330 km/h (205 mph).
