Lamborghini Half Mile Record With 234.8 MPH Run – Video

A very fast Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 tuned by Underground Racing has just destroyed the half-mile record setting a sensational time of 234.8 mph.

Gidi Chamdi was driving the monster Lamborghini, which comes equipped with a mean twin-turbo setup and output north of 1,000 horsepower. The record run went down at the Shift Sector roll race ½ mile held at McMinnville Municipal Airport in Oregon, and surprisingly this was UR’s first time at the event.Less surprising to hear is that the underground racing has held the record since October 2009, and the past few records were broken by another Lamborghini Gallardo.
