HN R200 By Hoffmann & Novague – Video

HN R200 By Hoffmann & Novague – Video

It was obvious to Hoffmann & Novague that their company’s first vehicle must be exceptional, quite simply authentic and with traits and features which emanate its originality and underscore its genuine nature. But Hoffmann & Novague wanted to go much further; Hoffmann & Novague yearned for something extra, and this they defined as a smartly wrought original linked back to history. And on top of all that, something which could be put together in modular fashion, as our original idea was that they would design and manufacture most cars themselves using just a few mass-produced parts.

Hoffmann & Novague chose the Škoda 130 RS (‘Erko’), the only true Czechoslovak legendary car. In making our first sketches, Hoffmann & Novague had to keep our basic idea in mind – to be innovative, but to preserve all the important and characteristic elements of the original body. Hoffmann & Novague needed to find the optimum level of retro features and contemporary style so that a body with a distinctive design could be created, and not just a boring transformation from history to the present. Hoffmann & Novague sought our own design language, their own proportions and also a certain gap in the contemporary car market.

Hoffmann & Novague have developed a completely new all-aluminium body for our HN R200 project. This is complemented by a number of carbon-fibre composite features. Hoffmann & Novague have paid great attention to every detail to ensure a harmonious whole is created with top-notch production methods. The distinctive design is built using uncompromising sports forms. Their goal was to create an automobile as a gem and a product which is without a successor, which is simply to be unique. Hoffmann & Novague designed the work as an original piece which is added to in a modular style and further containing a number of features of mass-produced vehicles in order to achieve an overall harmony of the working whole.

The result bears these technical parameters: Performance 430 hp, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 s. Maximum speed 280 km/h. Combined fuel consumption 12.5 litres. The car is built taking account of the driver experience, and as such has six-speed manual transmission, and no unnecessary features in the interior, just you and your driving experience.
