Chrysler Airflow RENDERED Is This the Brand’s Comeback?
Chrysler appears ready to make a serious return to the crossover market, and the brand’s upcoming Airflow could be one of its most important vehicles in years. A recent Stellantis presentation briefly showed the new model, giving enthusiasts their first look at what Chrysler has been developing behind the scenes.
Unlike the futuristic Airflow Concept that grabbed attention several years ago, the production model is taking a more practical approach. The crossover features a clean and modern design with sharper edges, a taller stance, and a more traditional sport utility vehicle shape. While some concept car styling has been toned down, the new vehicle still looks distinctive enough to stand out in a crowded market.
At the front, the crossover features vertically stacked lighting elements connected by a slim light bar that stretches across the width of the vehicle. An illuminated Chrysler badge sits in the center, helping create a modern appearance. The overall shape gives the vehicle a strong and confident look that could appeal to families looking for a stylish everyday crossover.
The side profile is simple and uncluttered, with flat body panels and flush style door handles that contribute to a cleaner design. Around the back, tall vertical taillights extend upward toward the roofline, while black lower body cladding adds a rugged touch.
Underneath the bodywork, the new crossover is expected to use Stellantis’ STLA One architecture. The platform supports both hybrid and fully electric powertrains, giving Chrysler flexibility as customer demand continues to evolve. This should allow the company to offer multiple powertrain choices depending on market needs.
Pricing is expected to begin around $40,000, positioning the vehicle in the competitive midsize crossover segment. Chrysler is also reportedly preparing additional sport utility vehicles that could arrive later with prices below $30,000, expanding the brand’s lineup even further.
If current expectations prove accurate, the new Chrysler Airflow could make its official debut next year and become a key part of the brand’s future growth strategy.
