612PS Mercedes-AMG C63 S Wagon by performmaster

The Mercedes-AMG C63 S Estate has been taken to a whole new power level courtesy of German tuner performmaster.

There’s certainly no shortage of aftermarket jobs for the latest C63 and this time we take a look at performmaster and their massive power boost for the twin-turbo V8 4.0-liter engine. By implementing their PEC tuning module, the engineers were able to extract a total of 612 PS (450 kW) and 840 Nm (620 lb-ft) of torque, thus making it substantially stronger than the stock motor which is rated at 476 PS (350 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft). The difference between the two is 28% in horsepower and 29% in torque which has enabled a top speed of 193 mph (310 km/h) whereas the standard estate is electronically-capped at 280 km/h (290 km/h for the sedan) when equipped with the AMG Driver’s Package.

As far as the acceleration is concerned, the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint time has been reduced from 4.1 to 3.8 seconds while the 0-124 mph (0-200 km/h) run is now done in 11.4 seconds, down from 12.7 seconds.

Since the AMG GT has the same engine, it’s no wonder performmaster offers the same power bump to 612 PS (450 kW).
