428 bhp Nissan Patrol NISMO Unvailed

428 bhp Nissan Patrol NISMO Unvailed

Nissan has taken the wraps off a NISMO-prepared Patrol during a special event organized in Dubai, UAE.

The unveiling coincides with the introduction of the NISMO performance brand in the Middle East where the 370Z NISMO and the GT-R NISMO will also be sold. It comes as a surprise that Nissan has decided to launch a sportier version of its large and heavy SUV, but they believe there is a market for a hotter Patrol tricked out by the firm’s in-house performance division.

Power comes from an evolution of the 5.6-liter V8 engine that now develops 428 bhp (319 kW) which makes it 28 bhp (21 kW) stronger than the standard configuration. There’s no word about the torque figure just yet, but the stock engine has 412 lb-ft (560 Nm) and according to Nissan this beefier setup offers the entire torque across more than 70% of the rev range.

It sits on massive 22-inch RAYS forged alloy wheels and benefits from a NISMO-tuned steering system and suspension featuring Bilstein shock absorbers. It also has a sporty body kit with typical NISMO red accents along with a bespoke interior cabin.

All three NISMO-branded models are now available across the Middle East.
