The Golf GTE comes with a plug-in hybrid setup of a 148bhp 1.4 litre TSI and a 101bhp electric motor, up to 31 miles of EV range, a 0-62mph of 7.6 seconds and official economy and emissions of 166mpg and 38g/km which is all quite appealing.
