The good performance of seatbelts and pretensioners together the airbags and a good performing structure explain the four stars adult occupant protection result. The Captur also offers ISOFIX anchorages, a passenger airbags disabling switch to safely install a rearward CRS in the front seat as well as very clear instructions for CRS installation. In addition, the child occupant protection during the front and side crash was good even when the CRS were installed using the seatbelts. Most of the CRSs assessed for installation pass.
