0-60 MPH Time Of The Hellcat Jeep Trackhawk Leaked
The Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) dealerships meeting which happened in Las Vegas is proving to be the best information on new cars coming out.
First it was the rebuilding of Barracuda and now we’re learning about the Hellcat engine Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk.
Now we’ve known about this insane SUV for some time, but apparently FCA actually brought it out for dealers for them to see it in person.
According to Motor Authority’s website source, the response to the Jeep Trackhawk SUV from the room was as follows: “That thing sounds insane!”
What makes the Jeep Trackhawk so insane is that it has all-wheel drive. This is what will propel it from 0-60 mph in a mind numbing 2.7 seconds, at least according to FCA.
That number is for sure impressive for any type of vehicle and will likely go up once independently tested. Still, this monster SUV will be fast as stink thanks to the super traction of AWD system and the fact that source says it’s lost 500 pounds.
Recently we received reports that HEMI V8s will disappear from the Dodge lineup sometime in 2019, which means FCA had better move fast if it wants to sell a number of these beasts.
As far as pricing, there’s a rumored MSRP of $79,999 but that has not been validated. Good luck getting one of these monsters for that cheap or at all.
